Cumulus Media Inc., a Delaware corporation formed in 2002, and its successor merged to form an Illinois corporation of the same name in 1997. The company owns and operates commercial radio clusters throughout the United States. The company believes it is the largest pure radio broadcaster in the United States based on the number of stations it owns and operates. As of December 31, 2014, the Company owned or operated approximately 460 radio stations (including LMAs) in 90 U.S. media markets and operated a national radio network serving more than 8,500 affiliates. On December 31, 2014, under the name of LMAs, the company provided sales and marketing services to 11 radio stations in the United States.
