Delhi Transport Department to Study Loss-Making DTC Routes with IIT Delhi Researchers.

The Delhi Transport department will appoint researchers from IIT Delhi to study DTC bus routes and identify those causing losses. The researchers will prepare a report and action plan to cut down on the losses incurred by the DTC. The move comes after the CAG report showed that DTC liabilities rose from ₹28,263 crore in 2015-16 to ₹65,274 crore in 2021-22, with operational losses of ₹14,198.86 crore.
